These roles span developmental adapted physical education and center-based/resource special education teaching, serving elementary-aged learners. Your journey would begin September 8, 2026, and conclude June 10, 2027, with a consistent 37.5 hours per week. Across these positions, you'll collaborate with supportive colleagues and help shape individualized educational experiences that empower students of diverse abilities.
Key Qualifications:
Active Tier 3 or Tier 4 Minnesota Special Education license is required. Credentials in relevant areas such as
DAPE, ASD
(Autism Spectrum Disorders), DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disabilities), EBD (Emotional Behavioral Disorders), or ABS (Academic Behavioral Strategist). At least 2 years of dedicated special education classroom teaching experience. (Experience in other educational capacities will not substitute.) Expertise in adapting curriculum and instruction to diverse learning needs.
Role Highlights:
Develop and deliver tailored lessons for students with varied needs, creating inclusive learning environments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general educators, therapists, and families, to optimize student progress. Document student development, track goals within IEPs, and participate in eligibility and review meetings as required. Maintain a positive, proactive classroom culture that fosters engagement and supports whole child development.
