Two contract roles are open for immediate start, extending through January 4th, covering district leaves at the middle and elementary school levels. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement Previous experience working in a center-based classroom environment preferred Strong understanding of diverse learning needs, IEP implementation, and adapting instruction accordingly Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families Flexibility and resourcefulness to adapt to changing classroom dynamics

Key Responsibilities:

Teach students in center-based Strategies programs to support individualized academic, behavioral, and social development Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to students unique learning profiles and IEP goals Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies to maximize achievement Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to deliver comprehensive support Foster an inclusive, positive, and respectful classroom environment Provide crisis intervention, if necessary, and utilize de-escalation techniques
