Job Description
Qualifications:
Valid state Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Special Education or related field Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to modify curriculum and instruction for students with varying disabilities Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills Collaborative approach to working with students, families, and multidisciplinary staffKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction tailored to individual IEP goals Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure inclusive and supportive classroom environments Facilitate IEP meetings and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Foster a safe, positive, and encouraging atmosphere conducive to academic and social-emotional growth Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in staff meetingsBenefits:
