Duties Supervise children during the afternoon period, ensuring their safety and engagement through structured activities and free play Implement child development instruction strategies tailored to preschool and toddler age groups Maintain a safe classroom environment by practicing proper child supervision and classroom management techniques Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships Support children's social-emotional growth by managing behavior with positive guidance and behavior management techniques Assist with classroom cleanup, organization, and preparation for the next day's activities Follow mandated reporting laws to report any concerns related to child safety or well-being promptly Experience Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings preferred Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs highly valued Knowledge of childhood development principles, infant care, toddler care, and preschool teaching methodologies required Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and knowledge of mandated reporting laws are essential Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a nurturing environment Experience working with parents and communicating developmental progress clearly and professionally Background in caregiving roles such as babysitting or nannying that involved child supervision and behavior management Join us as a Closing/Afternoon Teacher to inspire young minds during their most formative years!
