Full-time Qualifications Active Mississippi Special Education teaching certification/license required Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Previous school-based special education experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Ability to support students with diverse academic and behavioral needs Key Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, related-service providers, administrators, and families Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and functional goals Maintain a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Ensure compliance with IEP requirements and applicable state and federal regulations
