A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Special Needs Caregiver:
Help individuals participate in community activities and social events Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible Pay & Schedule $16.00/hr. High school diploma or equivalent At least 18 years of age One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to community activities Don't have experience?
