Key Qualifications:

Valid North Carolina Teaching License for Middle and/or High School levels Proven expertise in special education, with the capacity to adapt instruction to meet a wide variety of student needs Experience in inclusion and/or resource teaching models preferred Strong communication skills to collaborate with general education staff, families, and support teams Dedication to individualized instruction, data-driven planning, and ongoing progress monitoring Ability to remain flexible and organized in a dynamic school environment Commitment to upholding professional standards and engaging positively with students and staff

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver in-person instruction, accommodations, and modifications for students in both inclusive and resource settings Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students on your caseload Collaborate with classroom teachers to support students within the general education environment Maintain detailed documentation for compliance and reporting Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals Participate in team meetings to plan and review student services Foster a welcoming, supportive classroom atmosphere that empowers all students to achieve their best Dont miss the chance to shape student experiences in a vibrant educational community, working weekdays for a total of 35 hours per week with an immediate start through June 4th, 2027.
