Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high safety standards throughout the manufacturing process. Duties Operate and monitor manufacturing machinery and equipment, including forklifts and power tools, to ensure smooth production flow. Interpret and follow production documents, technical drawings, and specifications accurately. Use measuring instruments and hand tools for assembly, calibration, and quality checks. Perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing facility to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly. Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting modifications. Support warehouse activities such as inventory management, loading/unloading using forklifts, and managing storage areas. Follow all safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of production processes. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, power tools, and mechanical assembly equipment. Familiarity with measuring instruments, technical drawings, and interpreting manufacturing documents. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues. Experience managing or supporting assembly line operations or production teams is preferred. Strong adherence to safety protocols in fast-paced environments. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and quality control.
