9658226-28451 Job Description Make a meaningful impact as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing through a flexible, contract role supporting students in multiple schools near Leland, NC. This full-time, itinerant opportunity offers the chance to provide essential services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, collaborating closely with teachers and staff to ensure each childs needs are fully addressed. Youll travel between various campuses, using your expertise to design and implement individualized educational plans, conduct assessments, and promote inclusive learning environments. Your day will run from 8am to 4pm, offering predictability with rewarding professional variety.

What youll bring:

Valid and active state certification or licensure for teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing students Strong skills in individualized instruction and accommodations for hearing-impaired learners Previous teaching experience in a similar capacity is highly preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities Passion for supporting diverse learners across multiple grade levels Responsibilities include: Managing a full-time caseload of students across several sites Providing both direct and consultative services to students Developing and updating IEPs in partnership with educational teams and families Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and administrators for student success Utilizing adaptive technologies and supports to facilitate access to the curriculum Serving as a resource to school staff for best practices in deaf education Enjoy peace of mind with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, plus 401k matching and weekly compensation for consistent financial planning.
