Details of the assignment:
Full-time position, starting as soon as possible through May 28, 2027 Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week Roles available from elementary structured support to middle school co-teaching, serving students with mild to no behavioral needs Small caseloads (6 students elementary, 11 students middle school) Excellent classroom support teams include teaching assistants and behavior technician support Some students require toileting assistance; minimal feeding assistance required Preferred qualifications: Current certification/licensure in Special Education (state-specific as required) Experience working with elementary and/or middle school populations Comfortable providing toileting assistance Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, compassion, and adaptability skills Responsibilities include: Delivering individualized instruction to meet students IEP goals Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, behavior technicians, and other support staff Maintaining accurate documentation and progress records Providing a positive, inclusive environment fostering learning and growth Supporting students daily living needs as necessary Key benefits: Non-taxable travel stipends Travel support and assistance Premium compensation 401(k) retirement plan Comprehensive healthcare coverage Job stability for the length of your contract Elevate your special education career while exploring all that Marion, NC, has to offer.
