Qualifications & Desired Experience:

State licensure/certification as a Special Education Teacher (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in an elementary or middle school classroom preferred Compassion for students with diverse abilities and needs Comfortable providing toileting assistance (no feeding required except feeding tube for one middle school student) Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, behavior technicians, and allied professionals Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Ensure proper support for students requiring toileting or feeding tube assistance
