Job Summary We are seeking a Middle School Teacher to teach Math and Science at our private Christian school. In this role, you will deliver engaging lessons across various subjects, foster a positive learning environment, and support students' walk with Christ. Your expertise will help cultivate curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning among diverse student populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives. Duties Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Abeka and BJU Press curriculum standards. Manage classroom responsibilities effectively by maintaining discipline, fostering respectful behavior, and implementing behavior management strategies. Provide timely feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues on instructional strategies and school-wide initiatives Support students with special education needs by adapting lessons and providing appropriate accommodations in compliance with educational regulations. Engage in parent-teacher communication to discuss student progress, behavioral concerns, and academic planning; participate in school meetings and professional development activities. Qualifications Excellent communication skills for effective public speaking, parent engagement, and team collaboration. Experience working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with special education needs; ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly. Demonstrated ability to mentor students academically and socially while fostering a positive classroom environment.
