Desired Experience and Qualifications:

State certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, or eligibility for certification Professional experience teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, preferably in a K-12 environment Strong communication skills, with proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) highly valued Ability to collaborate with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational goals Understanding of IEP processes and experience with individualized instruction Passion for cultivating accessible, engaging learning experiences
