Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching licensure/certification Experience in high school or adaptive/specialized environments preferred Familiarity with Standard Course of Study or Extended Content Standards Strong commitment to inclusive education and adapting to diverse learning needs Excellent collaboration and communication skills Empathy, patience, and problem-solving abilities in varied classroom environments

Responsibilities:

High School Resource Role:

Support approximately 30 students, primarily through inclusion services with select pull-out sessions Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs guided by the Standard Course of Study Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to promote academic and behavioral success Provide differentiated instruction and interventions to ensure student progress Adaptive Position at a

Public Separate School:

Guide a classroom of 8-10 students with significant cognitive disabilities following Extended Content Standards Work closely with a team, including teacher assistants, therapists, and nursing personnel, to address individual needs Create and adapt instructional strategies, fostering a supportive, accessible environment Address medical needs with support, ensuring all students' wellbeing and engagement
