Industrial Timber is searching for an experienced Frame Builder the Taylorsville / Hiddenite location
• Experience is needed, must have ablitity to work independently and be a self starter
•
Pay:
$18
•20 based on experience with a possible bonus based on production
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for building quality furniture frames in a fast pace production driven plant enviorment putting safety first.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Summary:
Build high-quality furniture items efficiently on a production line or in a custom manufacturing workshop.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced factory floor, plant, or production warehouse.
Physical Demands:
Standing for 8 to 10-hour shifts, bending, and regularly lifting materials up to 50 lbs.
Key Responsibilities Assembly:
Position, glue, staple, screw, or bolt precut wood, metal, and frame parts together using pneumatic and hand power tools.
Reading Blueprints:
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and production specifications to ensure accurate dimensions.
Operating Machinery:
Use woodworking machinery, such as saws, routers, sanders, and CNC machines, to shape and smooth components.
Quality Control:
Inspect raw materials for defects and verify finished measurements to meet company quality standards.
Finishing Touches:
Apply stains, sealants, paints, or hardware (hinges, handles, legs) to complete the product.
Safety & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean, safe working environment by adhering to all plant safety protocols and OSHA standards
Qualifications & Skills Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Reports To:
This position reports to Plant Manager.
