Job Description We are looking for a Program Manager to guide a complex manufacturing consolidation initiative across multiple locations in Taylorsville, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position will partner closely with senior leadership to shape the project approach, align cross-functional teams, and maintain momentum from early planning through final execution. The role is focused on delivering a well-coordinated transition that protects business continuity, supports employees, and minimizes impact on customers and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities: Build and maintain a comprehensive program roadmap that outlines milestones, timelines, risks, and interdependencies across the consolidation effort. Coordinate work across operations, supply chain, finance, human resources, and other partner teams to keep priorities aligned and execution on schedule. Prepare materials for governance meetings, support steering committee discussions, and document decisions, actions, and follow-up items. Track project progress through reporting tools and dashboards, using data to highlight issues, escalate concerns, and recommend corrective actions. Facilitate regular communication among stakeholders to ensure transparency, clarify expectations, and maintain engagement throughout the program. Manage meeting calendars, key deliverables, and action plans to keep teams organized and accountable. Identify operational risks and transition challenges early, then work with leadership to develop practical mitigation plans. Oversee dependencies tied to transformational project activities, including any required process or system-related transition tasks, to reduce disruption during implementation. Proven experience leading large-scale program or project initiatives, preferably within manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments. Strong background in cross-functional project management with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams at the same time. Demonstrated skill in project planning, roadmap development, and maintaining detailed project plans through execution. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other tracking or reporting tools used to monitor milestones, status, and risks. Experience supporting project stakeholders and leadership teams through clear communication, meeting facilitation, and status reporting. Ability to manage calendars, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with competing demands. Familiarity with customer service software or related business systems is helpful for coordinating downstream operational impacts.
