Prepare individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring specialized support and ensure their effective implementation. Mentor and supervise teaching assistants or junior staff, providing guidance on curriculum development and classroom management strategies. Maintain detailed records of student progress, behavioral reports, and communication logs with families regarding developmental milestones or concerns. Requirements Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or special education settings, including preschool or private school environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and behavioral therapy techniques. Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental delays such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Familiarity with curriculum development tools and lesson planning for diverse learners. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and external specialists. Ability to manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and behavioral health strategies. Certification or training in speech therapy, behavioral health, or related fields is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to mentor staff and foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners' needs.
