This long-term, contract opportunity runs from now through June 4, 2027. Youll work within an inclusion/resource setting, collaborating with fellow educators to deliver tailored instruction that helps every student reach their fullest potential. Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Valid North Carolina Teaching License for middle and/or high school Experience or strong interest in special education, especially in inclusion/resource environments Ability to adapt instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families Organized, proactive, and committed to individualized student success

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IEPs for students, closely aligning goals to individual needs Foster an inclusive classroom climate, providing differentiated instruction and academic support Collaborate regularly with general education teachers and support teams to facilitate student progress Employ progress monitoring tools and maintain accurate records of student performance Communicate consistently with families regarding milestones and strategies for continued growth Support a positive transition experience for students between middle and high school settings
