Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field Current teaching certification in Special Education Previous experience with IEP development and implementation Familiarity with a range of disabilities, including learning and behavioral challenges Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for working with students, families, and staff Organized, adaptable, and proactive in creating supportive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver individualized instruction adapted to students unique needs Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff Implement IEPs and monitor student progress towards established goals Maintain accurate records for compliance and progress reporting Cultivate a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and inclusion Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to foster partnership and engagement
