Job Description
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility) for the state of Nebraska Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred) Prior experience working with children with diverse learning needs Confidence in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and behavioral interventions Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesResponsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students unique learning needs and goals Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom atmosphere Assess and track student progress, regularly updating IEPs to reflect their ongoing needs Collaborate with general education staff, therapists, and support personnel Maintain accurate and timely reports, documentation, and communication with families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussionsBenefits and Perks:
