9644396-03222 Job Description Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Special Education Teacher to work with high school students for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and is based in the scenic region near Bristol, NH. As a full-time educator, you will be a vital support for students requiring specialized instruction, ensuring they receive a tailored and effective educational experience.

Key Qualifications:

Valid certification to teach Special Education (or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date) Previous experience working with high school students in a special education setting Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Effective communication and collaboration skills for partnering with faculty and families Ability to design differentiated instructional strategies to meet individual student needs Organizational skills for managing multiple students progress and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans aligned with students IEP goals Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and adjust strategies as needed Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth Attend IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development sessions Maintain accurate records and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to special education This is a Monday through Friday position, 35 to 37.5 hours each week.
