A dedicated Special Education Teacher is needed to guide and nurture an elementary caseload in a self-contained classroom environment, serving students with autism, those who are medically fragile, and others requiring specialized support. This full-time contract position offers consistent hours from roughly 8:15 am to 2:50 pm, extending from ASAP through June 17th, with strong likelihood for annual renewal.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification for New Hampshire (or eligible to obtain) Experience working with elementary-age students with autism and medically complex needs Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs and behavioral intervention plans Ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and structured learning environment Collaborative approach with fellow educators, therapists, and families Strong communication skills and a compassionate, flexible mindset

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and support to students in a self-contained classroom Adapt curriculum and therapeutic strategies to address unique learning and developmental needs Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor and report on student progress Communicate effectively with families, school staff, and external service providers Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education standards and protocols
