Job Description

50 Stars Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher for a school-based position in Berlin, New Hampshire . The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and support to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs while collaborating with teachers, families, and related service providers. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals. Provide specialized academic and behavioral support. Adapt curriculum, lessons, and instructional materials. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. Implement appropriate accommodations, modifications, and behavior-support strategies. Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and school staff. Qualifications Valid New Hampshire Special Education teaching certification/license, or eligibility to obtain one. Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. Experience working with students with disabilities preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school-based team.
