What You'll Bring:

Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher Experience working with diverse learners, including those requiring 1:1 support Familiarity with IEP processes and case management Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with school teams and families Flexible mindset, able to adapt to changes in caseload or environment

Your Responsibilities:

Serve as a case manager for students in grades 3 and 7, supporting their academic and behavioral growth Manage a caseload tailored based on team composition: 17 students if working solo or splitting 13-14 students if partnered Provide direct instruction and specialized interventions, emphasizing inclusion and individualized learning Oversee implementation of IEPs (beginning September 9), ensuring tailored support and compliance Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers (including those offering virtual speech services) Support five students needing 1:1 services, ensuring continuity and individualized attention Work at two campus locations: middle school (7:45 am - 2:15 pm) and/or elementary (8:45 am - 3:15 pm, focusing on 4th grade) Help cultivate a positive, student-first atmosphere
