$30.00 per hour Job description: Gate City Charter School for the Arts in Merrimack, NH is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of a Title I Teacher for grades 1-8. The Title I Teacher will provide targeted literacy and math instruction to students meeting the Title I eligibility criteria. Title I Teacher will provide specialized instruction for students who are not demonstrating proficient levels of achievement in grades 1-8. The Title I Interventionalist is responsible for group and individual instruction in reading and math for students who meet state and federal guidelines. The Title I Teacher is also responsible for collaborating with teachers and administration regarding the needs and progress as it relates to student achievement as well as data tracking and progress notes for all students served in Title I. The Title I Teacher is responsible for scheduling and management of Title I activity nights once per trimester. Potential for additional Title I summer camp weeks.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and to perform all required tasks. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues, teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians. Knowledge of technology such as MS Office products and database software. Able to collect and maintain student academic data. Experience in providing appropriate instructional small group techniques and methods in assisting students learning key concepts/ skills. Bachelors required, preferably in
