This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work weekdays in a collaborative educational setting, helping students reach their potential while gaining valuable experience. As a school-based paraprofessional, you will work directly within classrooms, providing hands-on assistance to students and enhancing their learning experiences. The schedule runs from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM daily, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, aligning with the school calendar through the last day of school in June.

Key Qualifications:

Background in working with students in education, childcare, or a related field is preferred Ability to follow protocols for supporting students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers and staff Patience, adaptability, and a team-focused approach in diverse classroom settings Reliability and a genuine passion for fostering student growth

Responsibilities:

Support students with IEPs as they learn in the classroom environment Assist lead teachers with classroom management and instructional activities Encourage student engagement and promote positive behaviors in line with educational goals Aid students as needed with tasks such as organization, transitions, and assignments Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other paraprofessionals to implement learning strategies The assignment provides stability through the school year and opens doors for hands-on experience in the educational field.
