9644396-03773 Job Description Seeking a skilled special education teacher for a contract position for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role runs from August through June and offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of high school students. Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support to high school students with identified educational needs Develop, implement, and adapt IEPs in collaboration with students, families, and team members Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to help students achieve outlined goals Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations Collaborate with general education teachers and support personnel to foster an inclusive classroom setting Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification Previous experience supporting high school students in a special education setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt curriculum, modify instructional methods, and provide behavioral support as needed Comfortable working in a team-oriented atmosphere

Additional Details:
