Qualifications/Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Recent or relevant experience in K-8 or elementary settings Ability to adapt instruction and planning across varied grade levels Comfortable working with students exhibiting SLD, developmental delays, or requiring SLP services Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction in reading and math to students K-8 or K-4, depending on assignment Manage caseloads of 7-8 students (elementary) or 8 students (K-4) or provide direct/indirect services at 15 hours+ per week Coordinate with support staff, including 1:1 paras and related service providers Develop and implement IEPs Create engaging, individualized lesson plans Foster a supportive, positive classroom environment
