9666096-03079 Job Description Step into a rewarding role supporting high school students as a Special Education Teacher and case manager in a collaborative, student-focused environment. This contract opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while engaging with a dedicated team committed to student success. Youll work primarily with grades 9-12, providing essential services and advocacy for students with diverse learning needs. Ideal schedules are available based on your availability, with top preference for Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 2:30 pm (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch).

Flexible options are also open:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, or Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Preferred Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with high school students (grades 9-12) in a school setting Familiarity with special education case management and compliance Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Sensitivity to student diversity and varying learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a case manager for assigned students, coordinating IEP meetings and maintaining compliance documentation Deliver direct instruction and educational services tailored to individual learning plans Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student development Maintain accurate records and contribute to essential paperwork as required Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth and achievement
