Job Summary:
Fort Lee Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for Lewis F.
Cole Middle School Qualifications:
Must hold a NJ Teacher of English Language Arts or Social Studies 5-8 or K-12 certificate, plus the Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement. Experience working with middle school students. Knowledge of special education practices, including development and implementation of IEPs. Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards in English Language Arts. Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Working Conditions:
Full time, tenure track, 10 month position, with benefits.
Salary Range:
Based on FLEA salary guide which ranges between $64,375 to $121,709, commensurate with experience
