Jan 4, 2027 Job Description Delsea Regional School District is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative Special Education Teacher to serve students in a middle school multiple disabilities classroom. The ideal candidate is committed to providing individualized, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate instruction that supports students with complex learning, physical, and communication needs. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with students' academic, functional, and social-emotional goals Provide differentiated instruction using evidence-based practices tailored to students with multiple disabilities Collaborate with related service providers (speech, occupational therapy, physical therapy, school psychologists, nurses, and paraprofessionals) Manage and support paraprofessionals within the classroom setting Use assistive technology and adaptive equipment to support student access and engagement Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal special education regulations Foster a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Communicate regularly and effectively with families and caregivers Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and professional development activities
Salary:
$175/day
