9681895-07305 Job Description Make a meaningful difference supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic contract opportunity. This full-time position spans the entire school year, from now through June 23, 2027, and follows an 8:00 am to 4:00 pm schedule. While your home base will be Colonial Middle School, youll provide direct services at four other nearby locations, collaborating with diverse teams as you support a caseload of 30 to 40 students. Ideal candidates bring experience in conducting assessments and evaluations and are prepared to work flexibly across multiple sites within the district. A current New Jersey Teaching Certificationspecifically with SPED/Learning Disability endorsementand NJ Tech Cert are required to be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate with Special Education/Learning Disability Teacher endorsement NJ Tech Certification required Experience performing evaluations and assessments in an elementary school setting Ability to manage a caseload of 30 to 40 students effectively Strong communication and organizational skills Willingness to work across multiple school locations
