The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Your creativity and attention to detail will contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilized effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Demonstrate excellent knife skills and culinary techniques in food preparation. Participate in catering events as required, providing high-quality service to clients. Shifts are typically 230pm-11pm Weeknights with some weekends Occasional AM shift on the weekends weekly pay cycle Experience Previous experience in a restaurant would be ideal Proven experience in the restaurant industry, particularly in fine dining establishments. Strong background in food service, including meal preparation and cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Experience in catering services is a plus, along with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Culinary experience with a focus on creativity and presentation is highly valued.
