Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated
- Special Education Teacher
- to support a Pre-K classroom in Mahwah, NJ. The teacher will be responsible for supporting a small caseload of
- 3 self-contained students
- and providing individualized instruction in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and specialized support to 3 self-contained Pre-K students.
- Develop and implement lessons aligned with students' IEP goals and developmental needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Collaborate with related-service providers, paraprofessionals, and school staff.
- Support students' academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and developmental growth.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Special Education teaching certification required.
- Experience working with Pre-K or students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to commit to the full Monday-Friday schedule.
