Infant Caregiver Bells Little Learners - 3.7 Mahwah, NJ Job Details Full-time $17.00 - $18.50 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications CPR Certification Teamwork First Aid Certification Feeding for children Full Job Description Bell's Little Learners is looking for a caring, dependable, and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate loves working with infants and understands the importance of creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where babies can grow and thrive. The hours for the position would be 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday Responsibilities Provide attentive, nurturing, and responsive care to infants throughout the day. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment. Follow individual feeding, sleeping, diapering, and care routines for each child. Complete diaper changes, bottle feedings, meals, and daily care as needed. Support infants' social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and interactions. Plan and participate in engaging activities such as tummy time, sensory play, music, movement, stories, and other developmentally appropriate experiences. Closely supervise children at all times and maintain proper ratios and safety procedures. Communicate professionally and positively with families regarding their child's daily experiences and development. Document daily activities, meals, naps, diaper changes, and other important information through our classroom communication system. Work cooperatively with co-teachers and administration to provide consistent, high-quality care. Maintain classroom cleanliness and follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations. Build strong, trusting relationships with each child and family. Qualifications Experience working with infants or young children. Able to lift 30lbs. Able to sit and play with the kids (constantly moving around) Previous childcare or early childhood education experience is a plus. Must be dependable, patient, nurturing, and responsible. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm and attentive in a busy classroom environment. Must be willing to complete required training and certifications. CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Pay:
