Job Description
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid New Mexico teaching license and NMPED credentials required Previous experience teaching special education, preferably grades K-3 Skilled in classroom management and adapting lessons to individual students Familiarity with social communication strategies and interventions Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with families and school teams Comfortable with virtual interview process (Zoom)Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individualized education programs (IEPs) Support positive student engagement and foster a nurturing classroom environment Track and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with district requirements Work with multidisciplinary teams to support academic, behavioral, and social goals Communicate regularly with families to ensure progress and provide resourcesWhat You'll Enjoy:
