What We're Looking For:

Valid New Mexico Special Education teaching license required Experience or strong interest in both pull-out and inclusion models Comfortable working with elementary-aged children (K-6) Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs (training available for the district's system) Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills—working closely with classroom teachers and support staff Previous experience with diverse student needs preferred

Your Role:

Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students with special needs Collaborate with general education teachers to integrate students into the classroom community Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and strategies Maintain accurate and timely student records Participate in paid team meetings and receive indirect hours for administrative work Travel between designated school sites as needed (paid travel) Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for your students
