We are seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher for grades 3-5 who believes deeply in the potential of every student and is committed to providing high-quality, individualized instruction. Our Special Education Resource Teachers provide direct and small-group instruction, support students in accessing the general curriculum, and ensure IEP services and goals are implemented effectively. They use data to guide instruction, monitor student growth, collaborate with colleagues and families, and advocate for what students need to succeed. Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction aligned to IEPs and grade-level standards
  
• Provide individualized and small-group instruction
  
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  
• Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress and guide instruction
  
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and student progress
  
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and collaborative problem-solving
  
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  
• Maintain accurate special education records and documentation
  
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers
  
• Create a positive, structured, and joyful learning environment
  
• Participate in professional development and school-wide responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree
• New Mexico Special Education teaching license appropriate for the position
• Criminal background clearance
• Authorization to work in the

United States Preferred:

Experience in diverse or economically disadvantaged school communities; knowledge of New Mexico standards and the Science of Reading; TESOL certification and/or bilingual Spanish skills; experience with Direct Instruction or SEL; strong instructional technology skills. Compensation & Benefits Salary is based on education, experience, and New Mexico teaching license:

• Level 1: $57,368+
• Level 2: $68,832+
