Conduct assessments to monitor progress and inform instruction; maintain detailed documentation of student achievements and challenges. Foster positive communication with parents through regular parent-teacher conferences, updates on student progress, and guidance on home-based support strategies. Lead mentoring efforts for assistant teachers or teaching interns, providing guidance on best practices in special education, classroom management, and early childhood education. Requirements Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or elementary school classrooms. Proficiency in early childhood education and behavioral therapy techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and community resources. Ability to manage classroom environments effectively while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. CDA or Associates degree, or willing to obtain CDA.
