Job Description
Overview The Title I Teacher serves as an instructional partner supporting eligible students in reading and/or mathematics within nonpublic schools participating in federally funded Title I programs. The Title I Teacher provides targeted, data-driven instruction designed to accelerate student learning, strengthen foundational skills, and promote academic confidence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct small-group and/or individual instruction in reading and/or mathematics to Title I-eligible students. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards, program goals, and individualized student needs. Administer and analyze formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction. Maintain accurate attendance, progress monitoring, and parent communication records in accordance with Title I requirements. Collaborate with classroom teachers, school administrators, and ADAC leadership to coordinate services and support student achievement. Participate in monthly virtual professional learning sessions and coaching provided by ADAC to strengthen instructional effectiveness. Prepare required documentation and reports for compliance and program accountability. Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented learning environment grounded in respect and high expectations. Support ADAC's commitment to educational equity and adherence to all federal, state, and local Title I regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education or related field. Current NYS teaching certification preferred. Successful classroom or intervention teaching experience. Experience in literacy and/or mathematics instruction, assessment, and differentiation. Strong data analysis, communication, and organizational skills. Experience working collaboratively with school leaders, teachers, and families. Knowledge of Title I program guidelines preferred.
