Responsibilities:
Provide educational services to students with special needs in a variety of settings, including home, school, and clinic Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, teachers, and other professionals Assess and address the educational needs of students with autism, developmental delays, and other special needs Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistency and progress Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment plans Compensation $68-$72 per hour
Requirements:
New York State Certification in any one of the following areas: Special Education Permanent Certificate Students with Disabilities, Birth to Grade 2 Students with Disabilities, All Grades Experience working with students with special needs in a variety of settings Strong communication and planning skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
