Kiddie Academy - Floral Park, NY SCIS Preschool Program | 2026-2027 School Year Immediate Hire PEEK NY is looking for a NYSED Certified Birth-Grade 2 (B-2) Special Education Teacher to join our growing SCIS preschool program at Kiddie Academy of Floral Park!
START AS A SUBSTITUTE

GROW INTO A PERMANENT POSITION
We are looking for a qualified teacher who can start immediately as a substitute while transitioning into a full-time permanent position within our 12-month SCIS program.
Compensation Substitute Teacher:
$200/day 8:00 AM - 2:20
PM Full-Time Permanent Teacher:
$70,000-$78,000/year 12-month SCIS program 7:30-3:30 PM Position Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to preschool students in an SCIS setting Implement IEP goals and individualized supports Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons Collaborate with the Special Education Coordinator, Teacher Assistants, related service providers, and families Maintain accurate student documentation and progress monitoring Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Requirements NYS Birth-Grade 2 (B-2) Special Education Certification required Preschool/special education experience preferred Strong understanding of IEP implementation Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to supporting the academic, developmental, and social-emotional growth of young children ✨ Why Join Us?
