Category Schools - Visually Impaired Teacher - Telehealth Job Type Contract A part-time position is available for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide telehealth services. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students through remote learning platforms.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting assessments to determine students' visual needs Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for visually impaired learners Delivering telehealth instruction and support that addresses students' academic and adaptive skill development Collaborating with families and other education professionals to maximize student success Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports

Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired Experience teaching visually impaired students in educational or telehealth settings Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively via remote platforms Knowledge of assistive technologies and instructional strategies for visually impaired learners Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
