Producing events for major events Organizing a youth production team presentations. Recruitment. Keeping and updating participant files. Keeping daily attendance for all courses. Entering the weekly attendance on the DYCD online system. Attend all weekly staff meetings. Inform Program Director of changes or any irregularities.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a part-time position. Working conditions and physical demands required : The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability and patience to work with children and young people, recognizing their exuberance and juvenile behavior, particularly in group settings. Remain in a stationary position while monitoring activities. Move for long periods, providing instruction. Travel when taking field trips, using public transportation, traverse city streets, ascend/descend stairs, and be exposed to outside weather conditions, while escorting youth.

Qualifications:

Education and/or experience required: High School Diploma or GED, working towards AA or BA degree. Minimum attainment of a Black Belt Degree in a particular style with strong knowledge of Martial Arts Experience teaching and organizing tournaments and working with youth. Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
