Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a difference as a contracted Special Education Teacher for a K-2 Multiple Disabilities (MD) classroom. This role focuses on providing support during a 12-week maternity leave, beginning September 16, 2026. You'll be instrumental in guiding and inspiring young learners in a highly structured, nurturing setting.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid teaching certification with endorsement in Special Education Experience supporting students with Multiple Disabilities (MD) in early elementary grades (K-2 preferred) Proven ability to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum to meet diverse needs Skilled in fostering classroom routines and maintaining a safe, engaging environment Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with staff and families Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to student growth
