Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting preschool-aged children by providing exceptional early childhood special education services in an energetic academic environment. This long-term substitute opportunity offers the chance to make a difference while working full-time for approximately 12 weeks beginning August 25, 2026. You'll be instrumental in fostering a nurturing environment tailored to each child's developmental and educational journey.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Valid Special Education Teacher license or appropriate state credentials Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly valued Solid understanding of early childhood development and differentiated instruction Strong knowledge of creating, implementing, and tracking Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Ability to communicate clearly with young learners, families, and collaborating staff Flexible, compassionate, and motivated to support diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:
