Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschool-aged students with special needs in a vibrant educational setting. As a long-term substitute, youll work closely with preschoolers, implementing individualized lessons and developmental strategies to set a solid educational foundation for every child. This full-time role begins August 25, 2026 and extends for approximately 12 weeks, allowing you to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience.

Key Qualifications:

Active Special Education Teacher certification Prior experience serving preschool or early childhood populations strongly preferred Solid understanding of implementing and managing IEPs Ability to create an engaging, nurturing, and safe classroom Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility and reliability in a long-term substitute role

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver early childhood special education services tailored to meet diverse developmental needs Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to foster growth and independence Develop, implement, and track progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom atmosphere for all learners Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to ensure holistic student support Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school policies This assignment provides the chance to share your expertise, support a wonderful group of young learners, and work alongside a passionate educational team.
