Key Qualifications:

Ohio teaching certification is preferred; however, special education teachers without full licensure will be considered. Authorization to work in the United States is required (sponsorship is not available). Previous experience in special education settings is highly valued. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills are essential.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and group instruction to a caseload of 39 special education students, tailoring strategies to meet each child's unique learning needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective individualized education programs (IEPs). Maintain accurate records of student progress and meet reporting requirements for compliance. Engage in classroom and resource room teaching during a school day that runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., following a morning breakfast period from 7:30-7:55 a.m. Participate in professional development and stay current with best practices in special education.
