Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the educational journey of K-12 students as an Autism Specialist within the vibrant communities surrounding the Ashland area. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity invites highly skilled professionals to support schools within a 35-mile radius of Medford, working alongside educators and specialists to ensure equitable learning experiences for all. Ideal candidates will bring both significant expertise and heartfelt passion to their work. You will serve as a vital resource and consultant for educators and families, offering direct support, assessment, and intervention for students on the autism spectrum, across varying age groups and needs. Your advanced training, analytical skills, and empathy will help shape positive outcomes for students, from high-functioning learners in general education to non-speaking students with complex needs.

Desired Qualifications:

Masters degree in Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology, or School Psychology (with TSPC license), OR BCBA with targeted Autism specialization Minimum 3 years hands-on experience working with students on the Autism spectrum, encompassing a range of severities and settings Proven ability to conduct comprehensive Autism assessments and develop measurable intervention strategies In-depth understanding of public school systems and special education protocols Valid Oregon licensure and relevant certifications Skilled at collaborating with multidisciplinary school teams, supporting staff, and communicating with families

Key Responsibilities:
