This full-time opportunity is ideal for a DHH educator who is comfortable working across multiple school settings and has experience supporting students with a variety of hearing technologies and communication approaches.

Flexible Travel:

Will visit different schools across the district on a weekly basis Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across multiple school locations. Travel between schools throughout the district based on student and program needs. Develop and implement individualized instruction and support strategies. Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, families, and related service providers. Support students utilizing a variety of communication modalities and hearing technologies. Monitor student progress and adjust services based on individual needs. Provide guidance and resources to educational teams supporting DHH students. Support implementation of IEP goals and accommodations. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress and needs effectively. Required Qualifications Current OSPI certification with a DHH endorsement required. Experience working with students who use cochlear implants . Experience working with students who use hearing aids . Experience supporting students who use FM systems . Experience working with ASL users . Ability to travel between multiple schools within the district. Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with district teams. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in an itinerant DHH role. Experience working across multiple school settings. Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring. Experience collaborating with families and multidisciplinary educational teams. Strong understanding of the diverse communication and educational needs of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
